Our Foundation

In a nutshell I started BMS after personally being impacted by a corporate restructure. The options presented did not fit my life or the vision for my career and thus BMS was born out of a sense of urgency. As a workplace strategies consultant known for flipping the script on traditional HR processes and a reputation as a thought leader and employee relations godsend, I was often sought after for what others consider insightful perspectives on issues of inclusion and conflict management. It was there in my role as a trusted advisor to seniors leaders, frontline leaders, and employees from all walks that it was most evident to me the most developmental need in the workplace was conflict management. People are complex and by the shear nature managing them in the workplace is even more complicated and any artful professional responsible for managing do good by having a litany of tools. So, the journey begin quickly realizing Mediation and other forms of ADR were proven effective and under-utilized conflict resolution tools for employee relations and workplace grievances. From there, I set out on a path intent on helping organizations fix work while fixing “their stuff” through strengthening workplace conflict capacity and human relations that impact every aspect of their business and operations.

I am grateful to the independent partners who are as committed to the work as I am and think enough of the vision to create more meaningful moments that matter across the employee experience.
